Meet Dr. Steve H. Kim
Ophthalmology
Dr. Kim earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor through the integrated premedical-medical program. He completed a residency in ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston Texas. Dr. Kim then completed a two-year fellowship in diseases and surgery of the retina and vitreous at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Dr. Kim is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Kim has been performing retinal consultations and surgery in western Washington since 2003. He is committed to providing compassionate and individualized care to his patients. He has a particular interest in treating age related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and retina detachments.
Away from work, Dr. Kim enjoys spending time with his wife and two young sons.
